On the picturesque Shotley peninsular, there are a multitude of villages standing between the banks of the Stour and Orwell rivers.

The peninsula has many footpaths which cover field, farm, lake and riverside walks.

With a population of around 7500 people, the peninsula is a quiet rural Suffolk retreat, which hosts events for the wider community in the form of Farmer's Markets, Fetes, Exhibitions, Table Top Sales, Sponsored Events and various sporting activities based in and around the Village Halls.

The villages offer open spaces for the residents and visitors to walk animals, play field games, picnic and use the play equipment.
